A very special project from this last year was illustrating the book my father wrote about his childhood and his love and fascination for music whilst growing up.
Working on the illustrations I dived deep into material from archives to really get the atmosphere of the fifties and sixties right. It was a special journey, not only to be able to read about my dad when he was my age (or the ages I've already been) but to also search for the best visual way to create his atmosphere, not to just draw old pictures but keeping an element of wonder and catching the mood.
The book is self-published so you can't buy it anywhere but you have to be gifted a limited edition copy.
