Hi! My name is Agnes and I’m a freelance illustrator living and working in the Netherlands. I’ve been drawing for a range of international clients since 2012, including Workman Publishers, Flow Magazine, Uitgeverij Snor, and Uitgeverij Rubinstein.
Approaching every subject with my light-hearted and colorful drawing style, I’ve done a lot of different projects over the years, never backing away from heavier topics and always shining a light on the little interactions we have with friends, family, pets, or even strangers that make life worthwhile.
In addition to my work as an illustrator, I’m also a singer and multi-instrumentalist focusing on the bass guitar.
I’m a singer and songwriter in the indie-folk band called Wooden Soldiers and I’m the bass player in the seventies rockband Aesun. Since 2008 I’ve been a vocal coach and directed a choir once a week at music school ‘het Klooster’.
